Proposed Golf

Crail Golfing Society

The Crail Golfing Society was founded in 1786 and is the seventh oldest golfing society in the world. The present Balcomie Links course was designed by Old Tom Morris in 1895 and is recognized as one of Scotland`s classics.

The course has stunning views across the North Sea to the distant mountains of Angus.

an unforgettable experience

Kingsbarns Golf Links

Designed by Mark Parsinen and opened for play in July 2000, Kingsbarns is one of the newer courses in the kingdom of Fife.

Kingsbarns is ranked at No. 18 in the Top 100 Best Courses Outside the United States in Golf Digest and No. 10 in Golf Monthly’s UK and Ireland Top 100 Courses. The course features dramatic sea views from each hole and a traditional links golf heritage dating from 1793.

A challenging links experience awaits golfers as the course’s spacious fairways roll and twist over dune ridges and hollows through Scottish heather and wispy rough along 1.5 miles of scenic coastline near St. Andrews.

St. Andrews

New Course

The New Course – The oldest ‘new’ course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was designed by the Keeper of the Green Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbor.

Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of Links golf.

"The Home of Golf"

St. Andrews Jubilee Course

The third championship course at the Home of Golf, the Jubilee is considered by many to be the most challenging course on the famous Links.

Built in 1897, it was originally intended for use by ladies and beginners however after seeing its prime golfing location between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was converted to a championship layout in 1988.

Lundin Links Golf

Founded in 1868 on an Old Tom Morris course that was redesigned by James Braid in 1909. This is principally links with four holes more akin to parkland. This is a final qualifying course for the Open Championship.

Muirfield Golf Links

Muirfield, host of the 2013 Open Championship, is simply one of the best courses in the world.

The home of the Honorable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, it was designed in 1891 by Old Tom Morris and, including the 2013 championship, has hosted 16 Opens since 1892, the Amateur Championship on numerous occasions, the Ryder, Walker and Curtis Cups.

St. Andrews

The Old Course

The undoubted Home of Golf. This traditional links course is the oldest in the world.

Its layout is unique and challenging and the sense of history is overwhelming. To tread the turf of St Andrews, where in the 13th century shepherds played a form of golf, is a marvelous experience.

If times have not been secured on the Old Course prior to the trip we will put the group into the daily ballot for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Over half of the tee times for the Old are allocated for the ballot.  Times are also available at “dark” times.  The green fee for the Old is UK£175.00.
